Form 4 Transfer Paperwork Service
This service is for those who would like Capitol Armory to file ATF transfer paperwork from one party to another. This service is beneficial for those who may want to transfer items out of a Trust to another, previously approved individual to a Trust or for those purchasing from a private party and do not want to deal with the nuances of the complicated ATF paperwork.
To eliminate errors, it is best if the customer provides a scanned copy of the previously approved Form 4 depicting the Make, Model and SN# of the firearm. Capitol Armory will coordinate the collection of fingerprints, photos and digital signatures and subsequently assemble and mail the Form 4 packet to the ATF. Capitol Armory will collect $200 per packet to cover the ATF transfer tax.
The approved Form 4 will be sent to the transferor's address as found on the Form 4. Once the approved Form 4 is received, the firearm can then be legally transferred to the transferee as indicated on the Form 4.
