SOCOM TESTED TO EXTREME STANDARDS

The Gemtech Shield suppressor is built from titanium and features the same proven Quickmount system found on the Gemtech Quicksand and Gemtech One suppressors.  It features an upgraded baffle stack, complete with an Inconel blast baffle for added durability on short barreled and full auto rifles.  The upgraded baffle stack has allowed the Gemtech Shield to surpass intense SOCOM Military standards.     

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The Gemtech Shield is designed to be run on AR-15 style rifles, and run hard.  It surpasses SOCOM Military standards and can meet the most demanding tasks from military and law enforcement.  The titanium tube keeps weight down, making it more manageable than many other suppressors in class.  Although it is fairly long for a 5.56 can, that volume does increase performance and allow for a quieter rifle.  If you're looking for a rugged, durable, quiet 5.56 suppressor that utilizes Gemtech's Quickmount system, the Shield fits the role.
