The SilencerCo Octane 9 features an innovative, high-strength, CTA (Click Together Assembly) baffles that allow the silencer to be dissembled with ease for cleaning and maintenance. The SilencerCo Octane 9 features a modular mounting system, allowing transfer between hosts with a wide variety of pistons available. Although it is a multi-caliber centerfire pistol silencer, the SilencerCo Octane 9 can also be used with subsonic 300 Blackout rifle ammunition. Model #SU144
CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION
The Octane 9 is the same construction as the Octane 45, but an inch shorter. With 9mm ammunition, it averages 3dB more quiet than the 45 version. It's stainless steel baffle stack and full-auto rating allows the Octane 9 to be used with aggressive schedules of fire, including hard use on submachine guns. The CTA baffle stack can be cleaned. While not necessary with most pistol caliber use, if the shooter intends to use cast lead projectiles or shoot 22LR, the Octane 9 can be serviced to remove lead accumulation.
