The Thunder Beast 338 ULTRA is an extremely light weight .338 caliber suppressor, bringing a typical .338 Lapua Magnum rifle to roughly 135-138 decibels. The 16.9 ounce 338 ULTRA is backwards compatible with existing 338BA brakes, as well as the new 338BA V2 modeled after the Thunder Beast CB line of muzzle devices.
Using titanium to achieve the lightest weight in class, the TBAC 338 ULTRA maintains the high level of accuracy the company is known for. When compared to the 338BA, the 338 ULTRA is 33% lighter, stronger, and 2-4 dB quieter. Although it was designed around the .338 Lapua Magnum, it can also handle 6mm, 6.5, 260, 308, and a wide variety of other calibers.

When it comes to quieting down a precision .338 Lapua Magnum rifle, the 338 Ultra is hard to top. Maintaining a precision rifles accuracy is paramount, and the TBAC Ultra series does not disappoint. Additionally, the light weight nature of the Ultra series has only minimal change in barrel harmonics. With 338, a good muzzle break is often needed to watch trace or self-spot. Muzzle breaks also tend to be louder to the shooter, increasing anticipation of the shot and flinch. With recoil and noise reduction, the shooter can more accurately confirm hits or watch trace and splash without a dedicated spotter.
