The YHM R45, just like the smaller R9, YHM was thinking outside the box when the R45 was developed. Although the R45 is great on pistol caliber carbines and subguns, it allows the user to suppress a huge variety of firearms without a high financial cost. The design and production focus included durability to make sure the suppressor passes the test of time. Versatility, size, weight, and toughness are all well-balanced with the YHM R45.
While we most shooters are going to enjoy the R45 on a subgun or PCC, the multicalber capabilities are very important. The R45 can handle traditional pistol calibers up to 45ACP, but can also take moderate use on centerfire rifles. 5.56, .308, 300 Blackout, and many more can be used with the YHM R45. Perhaps the most impressive is the R45's ability to suppress 45-70. The ability to quiet more aggressive cartridges comes from the fully welded 17-4 stainless build. Although it's tough, the weight is reduced by having a tubeless design. In addition to reduced weight, this method also optimizes internal volume and allows for more gas to be trapped in the same (or small) footprint as competing suppressors.
Out of the box, the R45 is outfitted with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount. It can quickly be replaced with any Bravo/HUB compatible mount. This includes numerous direct thread pitches, booster assembly for pistol use, 3-Lug mounts for PCC QD, and over a dozen different industry-standard quick disconnect systems.

It's not a one-trick pony though, the R45 can handle pistols, rifles, and even 45-70 lever action rifles. It's really going to shine on popular PCCs in 9, 40, 10mm, and 45 but it won't disappoint on other firearms either. It's not an all-around multicaliber suppressor, but rather one tailored for PCCs that can excel at other tasks as well. Be it on a Kriss Vector, 45-70 Marlin Dark, or 300 Blackout AR-15 SBR the YHM R45 can handle it.
