This allows for superb performance, without the unnecessary options that may add weight and expensive. The ZEV 10.5" complete upper receiver can easily be installed on any standard AR-15 or M-16 lower receiver.
Forged from precision machined 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III Class 2 hard coat anodization, the upper receiver has a fantastic strength to weight ratio. The included 9" Wedge Lock handguard provides a continuous 1913 top rail, with M-LOK attachment points on the sides and bottom. The 10.5" barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO, has a 1:7 twist powered by a carbine-length gas system and low-profile fixed gas block.
